Sweet combination of power and control !!

The Head Radical Tour Co. offers a consistent accurate response off the face of the paddle. Excellent all court paddle. My paddle arrived at a wt. of 8.0 which seems about perfect for me. From my experience I like the CO surface vs the GR surface of the other Radical Tour. Both are very good all court paddles.

I was playing the Z5 for awhile and loved it but wanted a paddle with a softer feel but keeping the same dimensions as the Z5 and the Voyager Pro was that paddle. I’ve been playing with it for a few weeks and absolutely love it. The power is still there with a better touch around the net and for the price there’s no need to spend more for a higher priced paddle.

I really like this paddle. I was using a "regular" paddle and opted to try this elongated paddle to get some extra reach and it does that. It also feels really great when hitting the ball, kinda "soft feel" which I like. I would recommend it.

Incredible paddle. It's all as advertised, I find it provides tremendous power and in my case, also control although it is supposed to be mostly a power paddle. I noticed that no break-in/adjustment period was required. With this paddle I immediately noticed the difference when striking the ball and with minimum effort. Great product!

Coming from playing 4.0 tennis for many years and just got into pickleball 2 months ago. I wanted a paddle that would feel as close to a tennis racket so I bought the Diadem warrior it's a good paddle with control power & spin when you need it. But it's missing something for me. So I checked out some reviews and came across the Gearbox CX14 I have to say it does everything I heard and more It's great in the kitchen on drive shots I get plenty of topspin and on a slice serve you can create more spin than most of your opponents can handle. If I had to return my slice serve I'd must likely loss with an error.

The balls do last,however at 7 bucks a ball it has turned a cheap city sport into a expensive one.Probably why alot of top players play large ball using Penn purple racquetball.

Solid Paddle

Switched from the crbn 13mm to Joola. Solid paddle and plays very close to the crbn. One immediate difference is the soft game and ability to defend has improved. Spin seems to be above average and as good as a slightly worn crbn paddle. Solid paddle for baseline drives and deep shots. I prefer a thinner paddle for dexterity. Have not tried the Ben Johns 16mm paddle which reportedly provides less dead zones around the perimeter of the paddle.

Hand sizing is a bit complicated to find, i ordered the med and they fit, like a slim fit, they feel nice and have lots of grips, after trying the glove, I feel like i lost contact with the paddle and ball feel, so I won't be using them, but overall great gloves

I have tried several paddle companies and types. This paddle has a large sweet spot and generates good power. The gritty surface allows lots of spin. The paddle has good control once you get use to the ball response off the gritty surface. I like the handle feel and the length allows for two handed grip. I would recommend this paddle for all levels of play.

I have been using this paddle for about 5 months and it has become my favorite. While, the paddle is louder than any other paddle I have ever used, it transmits almost no shock to my arm at all which, my elbow likes. Worth the extra money.

I ordered this bag for my husband for his birthday. He has a similar one but it is so big and I wanted to look for something a little smaller and not so heavy. Very decent balls for less

I bought 8 cans, opened one and tried it with one wall paddleball in Brooklyn. I also gave one ball to A rated players. It has about 95% of the bounce of the a1 but is 1/3 less cost. I used them again a week later, no deterioration in bounce. Also seem less likely to crack than the a1.So far, so good. Sold a few cans around to the players for cost so I will see how they play over the next month or so.

not sure they 1/2 small. I play outdoor on courts painted over tennis, and indoor on courts painted on smooth concrete. On the outdoor courts these are just good inexpensive court shoes. On the indoor courts these even grip on the smooth and sometime super slippery concrete, I have fallen on these courts before when chaseing shots off the painted court. I am very happy with this purchase.

These balls are tough and are great for one wall small ball paddle ball. They are expensive so if you're playing with new players be prepared to search for $7 ball when it blasts off to who knows where! I have lost a couple they just disappear. Other than that it speeds up the paddle ball game and can be a lot fun and a challenge. Love 'em

This a great paddle at this price point. One thing that caught me off guard is the grip is very flat. I have an A1 paddle and it's grip is more like a racquetball grip. After some getting used to, I can see how the flat grip helps keep the paddle from twisting in your hand when you miss the sweet spot. The flat grip also allows you to switch hands and your hand lines up with the flat grip easily. A great paddle for a reasonable price.

While the paddle has a very good hit the handle has very little flare out at the bottom.This design flaw will possibly cause the paddle to fly out of your hand.

There are more expensive paddles out there, but you won't find one better than the Onix Z5 Widebody; ultra light; wide surface; large, well-padded grip; textured surface (great for spins); and perfectly weight-balanced between surface and grip. I bought one for myself; after playing with it just one week, also bought one for my wife. Five other players in our group and now using the same model. A side note: I've noticed Onix seems to be coming out with a new look for the Z5; it's solid colored versus the honeycomb look. If they also changed the surface, they screwed up a great design.

A colleague suggest trying a stiffer and larger paddle. He bought from someone else and never got to try it before it arrived. This program allowed me to try two paddles for up to 10 days before I bought the one I liked. I would have returned them sooner, but other players wanted to try them as well. At least one other bought the same paddle that I bought. the demo paddles showed up the day after I ordered them. When time was up, I put them in the original box and called FedEx. They came and picked them up. It was a no brainer. I was very pleased with the demo program and would not hesitate to use it again or recommend it to others. I know that several players in my club are going to use it.

Second gearbox, gave the pink one to my wife and moved to the heavier blue version to add more power. This paddle absorbs drives easily, nice handling for dinks. A larger grip offerring would have be nice, but modifying is easy. I'm 70 and at a 4.0 level.

I am a 3-5-4.0 player with 2 years of experience. I have only played with Selkirk paddles up until this purchase. I tried this paddle indoors, and absolutely loved it. I had great control with the indoor balls, loved the way the ball comes off the paddle, and the grip was perfect. So I immediately purchased the paddle. I play mostly outdoors. When playing outside with the durafast ball, the paddle changed. The reaction is completely different and it is difficult for me to control the ball. Now I realize it could be user error. But for me, this paddle will only be used indoors, which I rarely play anymore. I am not writing this to talk you off the paddle, just to give my experience

The bag is made of sturdy material. I use it for pickle ball. It holds my two rackets easily in the netted outside pocket. I keep my two pairs of sunglasses in the lower outside pocket. I keep my eye glass cleaner, keys and a granola bar in the upper outside pocket. I use the outside pocket that extends into bag for a convenient reach to a water jug when the bag is hung on a fence. All-in-all I am pleased.

PROS - Definitely an ALL GEAR bag. Nice design, plenty of room for everything you might need for a weekend tournament. Lots of pockets. Lightweight. CONS - Can't speak to the quality of the material or workmanship (although workmanship looks fine), until it is used for a while. That said, the material is thin giving the bag a very sloppy and unstructured look. Not my preference. The only way it could possibly look like the photo is if it was stuffed with packing materials. CONCLUSION - a reasonable value for the price, especially if you arent bothered by the unstructured look.
